Belfast-based digital arts charity, WheelWorks, is on a mission to teach young people about the world of motion capture. Their digital academy offers young people across Northern Ireland the opportunity to learn how to code and make their own games, how to animate characters in 3D, and how to use augmented reality and virtual reality with motion capture. "It's a fantastic opportunity for young people to learn those skills that are unfortunately not currently available in our schools," says Jan Todd, social enterprise coordinator for WheelWorks. Working with Noitom's Perception Neuron Pro system, students have the opportunity to work with motion capture in the hopes of fostering future careers in gaming, visual effects and animation.
